Raul Lopez, founder and creative director of LUAR, takes the Off-White™ Jitney — an icon whose very name suggests movement — and pushes its familiar language into unexpected territory. The designer brings the philosophies of New York City and the Dominican Republic that inform his own practice to the bag, exploring how its past can become material for its future. Playing with shape, size, texture and color, Lopez deliberately allows the nonsensical to make sense.

The room extends that same sense of disruption, shifting scale and perspective to make the recognizable feel unfamiliar again. Product and space become a conversation between where the Jitney has been and where it can go next.
