Off-White™ proudly debuts its Fall/Winter 2022 advertising campaign, marking the first to be directed by Ibrahim Kamara, Off-White™ Art & Image Director. Photographed by Rafael Pavarotti, the campaign images tether Off-White™’s heritage to its evolving brand vision just as the collections express a dialogue between past and future to articulate and progress the present.
The campaign is shot in the Moroccan city of Chefchaouen in a nod to the brand’s signature color electric blue. The new collections are depicted against the backdrop of this historical blue city populated with modern youth energy, normalizing the color into everyday life and creating a unifying concept for the Fall/Winter 2022 campaign.
The FW22 Women’s collection titled "Seeing Red" is a blend of contrasts and subcultures that that lands somewhere between ‘90s tech and bohemian, introducing a fresh aesthetic language with recurrent “party girl” vibe. Sexy silhouettes and glamorous knitwear are contrasted by heavy cargo outerwear in new volumes and proportions as provocative lines balance masculine elements in a postmodern palette.
The FW22 Men’s collection titled "Foreign Exchange" embodies the creative continuation of the label’s new minimalism, now clarified and evolved across knitwear, tailoring, coats, and outwear into a unique sartorial vocabulary. Relaxed, exaggerated fits dominate the outerwear collection, while tailoring revises traditional menswear structures and fabrications in a purposeful code switch.
Off-White™ "PAPERWORK" is a beauty collection conceptualized to enable everyone and anyone to express themselves and celebrate their human potential. The genderless, mixed-medium launch collection comprises Solution fragrances, Imprint face and body solid pigment crayons, and Color Matter nail polishes.
Individually, each category taps into a singular sense: smell, sight, or touch. Together, they offer a layered, sensorial, and wholly customizable experience. New "PAPERWORK" BOXES extend that innovation and creativity even further through packaging and playfulness.
The FW22 Eyewear Collection is titled "Through the Canvas" in a tribute to the important influence of the arts in the creative process of Virgil Abloh. The new selection of bold, genderless styles can be thought of as wearable architectural sculptures to be modeled on the face, defined by different graphic details.
The collection is characterized by signature Off-White™ architectural linearity and of-the-moment aesthetics as well as unusual graphics and unexpected volumes. Starting from the Fall Winter 2022 season, the eyewear collection now includes the first ever Off-White™ ski goggles inspired by the iconic industrial belt.
